Rooms built around real life.
Novilux Design is a Florida-based interior design studio working across Tampa, Miami, and Palm Beach on high-end residential and commercial projects. Since 2009, we've built a practice around a simple idea: a home should hold up to daily life as well as it photographs. Every project starts with how a client actually moves through a space, then layers in the material, lighting, and detail work that make a room feel finished rather than merely furnished. That approach has earned us a reputation built on follow-through as much as taste—clear communication, dependable timelines, and craftsmanship that holds up over time. Learn more...
I started Novilux Design in 2009 with a single client, a borrowed drafting table, and a conviction that a home should feel like it was written, not decorated—every room building on the last, every detail in service of how a family actually lives.
Seventeen years later, that conviction hasn't changed, even as the projects have grown from single rooms to full residences, hotels, and yachts. I believe in pursuing my purpose and serving my clients with intention, high vibration, and LOVE.
My mission is to bring my love of great design into each client’s unique space—creating harmony, balance, and beauty, and crafting environments that feel quietly powerful and evoke a sense of well-being, fulfillment, and accomplishment, all guided by the exclusive desires and individual needs of each client.

A well-designed home earns its keep every single day, not just when guests are over. We start by learning how your household actually functions—where the mess collects, where the light lands, what you've been meaning to fix for years—and design around that reality. The result is a home that looks composed and lives easily, built to hold the everyday as gracefully as it holds a dinner party.
A commercial space has to work harder than a home—it needs to hold up to traffic, support a brand, and still feel like somewhere people want to be. We spend real time understanding how a business operates before we draw a single layout, so the finished space serves the day-to-day work as well as it serves the first impression.
Yacht interiors bring their own set of rules—every material has to earn its place against salt air, motion, and tight tolerances, without the finished space feeling like a compromise. We bring the same residential-grade detailing to a vessel that we would to a home on land, then engineer it to survive life at sea.
NO SURPRISES, BY DESIGN
Good design shouldn't come with vague timelines or moving numbers. Our investment guide walks through exactly how a project unfolds—phase by phase, budget range by budget range—so you know what to expect before you sign anything.

We brought Novilux Design in for a full renovation of our medical practice's waiting area and consult rooms, and they treated it like a home instead of an office. The finishes are calming without feeling cold, and patients comment on the space unprompted. Leslie's team also kept the build on schedule despite two supply delays outside anyone's control.

Novilux Design handled the interior for our boutique hotel from concept through commissioning, and every material choice held up to what a coastal property actually demands. The property has already picked up a reputation locally as one of the better-designed stays in the area, which says a lot about how the space reads to people who've never met the team behind it.

A client once asked me what happens when a custom piece arrives wrong. I told her the truth: it happens more than people think.
What matters isn't the mistake, it's the fifteen minutes after we notice it—whether we call before the client does, whether we already have a fix in motion, whether the timeline stays intact.
That's the part of the job nobody photographs, and it's the part that actually earns the next referral.

Early on, I approved every fabric swatch and every paint chip myself. It felt like quality control. It was actually a bottleneck.
Handing that trust over to my team was uncomfortable at first—there were choices I wouldn't have made. But most of them were right, and a few were better than what I would have picked.
A studio that only moves at the founder's pace has a ceiling. Ours doesn't, anymore.

A client once showed me their formal living room—the nicest room in the house, and the one nobody ever sat in.
We stripped out the delicate furniture nobody trusted their kids near and rebuilt it as the room the family actually wanted: durable fabrics, real storage, seating built for Sunday mornings instead of holiday photos.
Six months later she told me it was the first time that room had ever been used on a Tuesday. That's the metric that matters to me.
